About Dr. Niederman
Dr. Caroline "Carrie" Niederman is a 1986 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. After completing an internship at Kansas State University and doing some nutritional research at Virginia Maryland Veterinary School, Dr. Niederman moved to Texas. For five years she taught in the Veterinary Technology and Biology Departments at Tomball College north of Houston.
In 1998 she started her own mobile veterinary practice, with a goal of focusing exclusively on dentistry. Dr. Niederman provides dental care to horses of all ages and uses her nutrition background to adjust feeding programs based on their dental health.
Dr. Niederman is an avid runner and also practices yoga on a regular basis. She does enjoy horse back riding but is certainly a novice compared with many of her clients.
About Susan Ahlersmeyer
Susan is a terrific addition to this practice. She is a proud owner of four Arabians so she is naturally comfortable around horses. Susan was actually one of Dr. Niederman's first dental clients and has been with Dr. Niederman for the past 1.5 years. Susan's tasks range from handling horses, making client calls, sending reminders, to managing all financial databases.
Services
Dr. Niederman travels with a portable horse stock pulled behind her truck so she can set up her mobile dental clinic in most locations. The stock provides a safe working environment for her, the horse and the owner.
